As COVID-19 closed schools and shut down social activity for children, New Bedford Public Schools was looking for a way to bring its community together through virtual means.
We designed, directed, and executed a district-wide content campaign to heal and inspire hope. Creative calls to action through social media amplified the innovative education occurring during the pandemic, and brought talent out from more than 200 teachers, students, and parents.
We built a landing page where the community could upload videos and images, and promoted in coordination with NBPS’ comms team. We produced a song starring middle school student Luis Colon sharing his experiences at home during the pandemic. Utilizing a motion graphic aerial motion graphic approach, we highlighted several schools in short segments, raising school and district-wide pride. The campaign lasted three months including planning and execution.
